Hi! I’m Aimez (although, if you’ve met me off the internet, you probably know me as Amy). I’m a character designer and illustrator based in Cardiff. I have a passion for fantasy creatures, especially dragons, but all things weird and wonderful are cool with me. 

 

My goal as an artist is to design characters for many different mediums, especially animation. I love to make characters that are rich with personality, and to create worlds for them to live in that are full of story. 

 

My past work includes designing and painting a Snoopy sculpture (which was obviously a dragon) for the 2022 'A Dog's Trail' competition, that went on to raise £4,400 for the Dogs Trust at auction. I also created an animated show concept, ‘Eclipse’, during a placement project set by Cloth Cat animation, which you can see in my portfolio. This then led to me creating another show concept, 'Stitched Up', for my Final Major Project at university, which you can also find in my portfolio.
